Who's your favorite Kentucky Derby winner of 1996 – 1999?
1999 Charismatic C. Antley 1998 2:03 quinto quiet K. Desormeaux Silver Charm 1997 2:02 fifth G. 2:02.44 1996 J. Stevens Grindstone Bailey 2:01 ET Why?
It was very good for horse racing! I go with Silver Charm, Gary, for my favorite: o) I read the perfect race last year and it was a really excellent book and it is clear that respect for Gary Silver Charm. Also I think Silver Charm was the best horse that never gives a horse the Year honors … only half a length to win the Triple Crown and the horse lost the year a 2 year old? then went on to win the Dubai World Cup next year. It's a close call, but … all horses are truly amazing. I do not know much about the wheel … after the derby, it never worked again … I'm sure he was very talented and it's always a shame when a defender is injured so early in their careers. It is also unfortunate that was running at a time when world attention was diverted from 3 years to the great cigar. Series was nice to see a winner the Triple Crown in the softest, but I take some pleasure retaliatory Belmont usurp Gary's real quiet had been taken from him and Silver Charm last year. Charismatic will always be anchored in our memory as it takes place after the Belmont with the support of Chris Antley … There is something magic once winning the Derby and Preakness 30-1. Charismatic thank God it was good … Too bad I can not say the same with Chris: o (
